Republicans? A cabal of mouth-breathers. Democrats? A cadre of hollow, cynical opportunists.

Let’s face it: the GOP’s moderates weren’t perfect. But they were still tethered to some semblance of sanity.

Hiding behind closed doors, Minority Leader and his cronies huddled complaining about the flood of calls demanding leadership that actually leads.

He’s a Musk, after all, and Musk men are not afraid to take what’s theirs, even if it’s buried in the slimy confines of their own nostrils.

The old guard of political debate, with its moderate arguments and reasonable compromises, has been replaced by a moral free-for-all, where lies are truth, corruption is competence, and cruelty is strength.

The constitutional crisis we’re staring at is the bastard child of decades of cowardly leadership and political theater.
